Research Experience for Community College Instructors in the Water-Energy-Food Nexus

The National Science Foundation will fund two (2) community college instructors to work with faculty researchers at the University of Alabama, the University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, or Tulane University. Researchers will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative atmosphere with a broad range of topics such as laser-based molecular spectroscopy, computational chemistry as well as the synthesis and characterization of new nanomaterials.

Participants will receive a $4,500 stipend and $1,500 travel and meal allowance.
